Introduction

Ai-Lan Elementary School, established with a total number of only 33 girl students in a Christian church in November, 1897, was created in its former name of Puli Wu Niu Lan Gong School on April 1, 1910, under the plan of Mr. Huang Dun Ren and some ardent educators. Later in May, 1947, the school name of Puli We Niu Lan Gong School was changed to Tie-Shan Elementary School until April, 1948, when the name of Ai-Lan Elementary School was ultimately given. |

In addition to the elementary section, at the the second semester of the 68th school year, in 1980, the kindergarten section with senior and junior classes were also established.

Currently administered by the Principal, Mr. Meng-Hsun,Hsieh, the table of administration organization of Ai-Lan includes Educational Affairs Division, Student Affairs Division, General Affairs Division, Counseling Division, an accountant, and a teacher in charge of the personnel affairs.
